This Bowmore single malt was created for the 2013 Feis Ile festival on Islay. It is a limited edition of 1,000 bottles, matured in bourbon casks and bottled in 2013 at a cask strength of 56.5% ABV, non-chill-filtered, in a 70cl bottle.
The nose combines orange blossom, dried apricot, ripe plum, cinnamon and mint with toasted oak. On the palate there is caramelised apple, honey and a subtle ginger heat in a creamy texture. The finish brings dark chocolate, spiced vanilla and sweet peat smoke, with lasting warmth.
