Bowmore – 2015 11 Year Old Little Brown Dog

A single cask Bowmore from Islay, distilled on 23 February 2015 and bottled on 5 May 2026 at 11 years old. It matured in a single bourbon barrel and yielded 272 bottles for independent bottler Little Brown Dog. The spirit was vatted by the distillery before filling, but this cask stood apart from the parcel with soft peat smoke, a creamy texture and stone fruit sweetness, so it was bottled on its own. The label is styled as a packet of roast chicken crisps, after the finish. The nose is soft peat smoke, peach syrup, vanilla cream and gentle coastal salinity. The palate adds orchard fruits, sweet malt and warming spice, and the finish is long and savoury with peat and roast chicken crisps.
