Bowmore Moonlight is a 22-year-old single malt with a slight, well-integrated hint of smoke.
The nose recalls a flower meadow in full bloom, with wild chamomile, broom, heather, elderflower syrup and blossom honey. On the palate it is warm and creamy, with herbal drops, bitter orange, canned peaches and custard, while the smoke stays well back.
The finish is fruity and floral and surprisingly long for the strength, with some wood and a lasting, subtle smoky note.
