The whisky is a marriage of ex-bourbon casks and Spanish oak Oloroso sherry casks. It carries a touch of peat smoke, set against sweet and spicy notes.
On the nose it is typically described as rich sherry, dark chocolate and dried fruit with a trace of peat smoke. The palate is full-bodied, with caramelised orange peel, toffee, oak spice and sweet smoke, leading to a long, warming finish with delicate smokiness.
