Bowmore 25 Year Old is an Islay single malt, matured for twenty-five years in a combination of sherry and bourbon casks. It comes in a 70cl bottle from a distillery working since 1779.
The colour is deep amber with golden glints. The nose offers ripe fruit, dark chocolate and a touch of peat. On the palate there is dried fruit, sweet spice and a little vanilla, and the finish is lightly smoky and lingers.
