Bowmore 25 Year Old is an Islay single malt aged for twenty-five years in sherry casks. It is bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle, and its colour is a mellow mahogany.
The nose is intense sherry and stewed fruits with a trace of Bowmore's smokiness. On the palate come toffee and hazelnut, woven together with a hint of sweet peat smoke. The finish is mellow, gentle and very complex.
