Bowmore 25 Year Old Small Batch Release is an Islay single malt in a 70cl bottle at 43% ABV. It was matured in ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks.
Bowmore takes its name from the town regarded as the capital of Islay. Part of the malt is malted at the distillery, using a measured amount of peat. The water comes from the Laggan River, and the distillery runs four stills, two for each distillation.
Its character is described as elegant, smoky and complex.
