Bowmore 25 Year Old The Gulls is an Islay single malt Scotch whisky in a 70cl bottle, bottled at 43% ABV. It was aged for 25 years in American bourbon and Spanish sherry casks, and its name draws on local folklore of gulls and storms around the distillery.
The nose combines citrus zest, ripe apricots, dark dried figs and blackcurrants with clove, rosemary and gentle oak. The palate is rich toffee and toasted almond with sweet vanilla and a touch of sea salt, creamy and velvety in texture. The finish is long, with dark chocolate and warm peat smoke.
