The whisky was distilled and matured on Islay, spending its thirty years in a combination of sherry-seasoned European oak and bourbon casks. Bowmore was founded in 1779 and is Islay's oldest licensed distillery.
It is described as balancing gentle peat smoke, tropical fruit and maritime notes.
