Bowmore ARC-54 is a 54 year old Islay single malt made in partnership with Aston Martin. It was distilled in November 1968 and matured in Bowmore's No.1 Vaults, in second-fill European oak sherry butt and third-fill American oak hogshead casks, then married for 15 months. Only 130 bottles were made, each in a hand-crafted glass decanter reminiscent of the Aston Martin Valkyrie.
The colour is golden. The nose brings sweet vanilla, creamy butterscotch and exotic fruits. On the palate are juicy green apple, bergamot, creamy caramel and warm spices, and the velvety finish carries delicate herbs and a little smoky peat.
