This is an official De Luxe expression from Bowmore, an Islay single malt bottled in the 1980s at 43% in a 75cl bottle, the format used before EU harmonisation. It carries no age statement.
It dates from the years before Suntory acquired the distillery. Bowmore produced before 1990 is associated with a lavender and floral character, which sets bottlings from this period apart from later ones.
