Bowmore De Luxe is a distillery bottling from the 1970s, an old-style expression now valued by collectors as one of the finest 'standard' Bowmores of recent decades. Whiskies from that era were typically less heavily peated than modern Bowmore, with softer smoke, honeyed sweetness and gentle sherry influence. It offers a real contrast to the lighter entry-level releases of the 1990s and 2000s.
