Bowmore Devil's Casks 10 Year Old Batch #1 is an Islay single malt matured for 10 years in first-fill sherry casks, both Oloroso and Pedro Ximenez. It was bottled in 2013 at 56.9% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
This limited edition runs to approximately 6,000 bottles.
The nose brings dark cherries, stewed plums and a hint of spice. On the palate come dark chocolate, molasses and roasted coffee, and the finish is lingering, with smoky caramel.
