This is a 24 year old Islay single malt from Bowmore, distilled in 1989 and released for Feis Ile 2014. It is a limited edition of 300 bottles, each in a wooden box, bottled at 53.3% ABV.
The whisky balances soft smoke, maritime salinity and dried fruits. On the palate come light peat and honeyed malt, followed by a long, warming finish with lingering coastal notes.
