Bowmore Voyage Port Casked is an Islay single malt released as a limited edition in 2000. It is finished in port pipes and bottled at cask strength, 56% ABV, in a 70cl bottle.
Ripe berries, dried apricot and zesty orange lead the nose, with a hint of clove, fresh rosemary and a polished oak backdrop. The palate brings rich cherry, dark chocolate, nutmeg and vanilla bean in a velvety, creamy texture. The finish is long and warming, with toasted almond and gentle smoke.
