A brandy from the Jerez-Xeres-Sherry denomination, produced by Lustau from selected grapes and aged by the solera method. Long ageing in American oak casks previously used for sherry gives a complex bouquet of vanilla, caramel, dried fruit, sweet spices and toasted wood. The palate is elegant and well balanced, with soft, persistent warmth. It is suited to sipping neat, perhaps with a cigar, or alongside chocolate and dried-fruit desserts.
