Breaker Bourbon is a high-rye bourbon made by Ascendant Spirits in Buellton, California, and bottled at 45% ABV in a 750ml bottle. The mash is corn, rye and malted barley.
It is aged for at least five years in new charred American oak. Each batch is blended from only eight hand-selected barrels, a much smaller number than many large brands use.
The brand describes vanilla, honey and molasses with dark chocolate and baking spices, followed by oak and a hint of campfire smoke.
