Breckenridge – Bourbon Port Cask Finish (75cl)

This is a Colorado bourbon from Breckenridge, finished in 59 gallon tawny port casks and bottled in a 75cl bottle. The casks are each under a year old. The finishing is done in batches of 8 to 10 barrels, whenever suitable port casks become available, so each release differs a little from the last. The port casks add the aroma and flavour of sultana raisin and maple syrup, which softens the bourbon's naturally spicy finish.
