Breckenridge Bourbon Whiskey A Blend

A blend of bourbon whiskeys from Breckenridge Distillery, made with a high-rye mash bill. Some of the bourbon is mashed, fermented and distilled in house, and the blend also draws on barrels chosen from Kentucky, Tennessee and Indiana. It has a deep honey-amber colour. The nose is warm and pronounced, with under-ripe banana, brown sugar, white pepper and toasted sesame. The body is light with a warm texture. The finish is long, with sweet oak and vanilla and a touch of bitterness for balance. It has been likened to a slice of toasted rye bread drizzled with honey.
