Breckenridge Buddy Pass Imperial Stout Cask Finish Whiskey (75cl, 57.4%)

Buddy Pass is a limited-edition American whiskey from Breckenridge Distillery in Colorado, bottled at 57.35% ABV in a 750ml bottle. It was made with Breckenridge Brewery as a barrel exchange. The brewery ages its Imperial Oatmeal Stout in the distillery's bourbon barrels. The emptied barrels return to the distillery, are refilled with Breckenridge whiskey and age for a further 10 to 13 months or so. The nose combines cinnamon and oak with fresh orange zest and chocolate. Caramel and dark chocolate lead the palate, followed by dry, mature oak and cinnamon spice. The finish is long, dry and spicy, with espresso and toffee notes from the stout casks.
