Breckenridge PX Cask Finish

A Colorado bourbon from Breckenridge Distillery, finished in retired Pedro Ximenez casks. They came from a solera that the distillery describes as hundreds of years old, and had held the thick, syrupy dessert wine made from sun-dried PX grapes in Andalusia. The distillery's rich, spicy bourbon was filled into these casks to pick up their character, alongside its own sweet oak and vanilla. It is described with fig compote, orange marmalade and liquorice.
