This is Breckenridge Bourbon finished in aged Colorado rum casks, bottled at 45%. It comes from Breckenridge Distillery in Colorado, and the rum casks are the distillery's own.
The finish sits over a high-rye bourbon base with a caramel core. It has won Double Gold at both the San Francisco World Spirits Competition and the New York International Spirits Competition.
The nose is candied apple, cinnamon and sweet oak. The palate has dark chocolate and cacao over bourbon caramel, with allspice warmth, and the finish is a lingering allspice.
