Brenne Estate Cask is a French single malt, distilled and bottled in Cognac from organic heirloom barley grown on the estate. It is bottled at 40% ABV in a 75cl bottle.
The spirit is twice distilled in copper Charentais alembic stills, then aged for a minimum of 6 years in new French Limousin oak and finished in ex-Cognac casks. Each bottle comes from a single, individually selected barrel.
The tasting notes point to crème brûlée, ripe banana, tropical fruit, cinnamon and clove on the nose. The palate is round and silky, with vanilla bean, poached pear and toasted almond. The finish carries dried apricot and gentle oak spice.
