This Demerara rum comes from Enmore Distillery and was distilled in 1988. It has matured for 30 years and received a Palo Cortado sherry cask finish, which has given it colour and complexity. The aroma shows clear sherry influence with notes of dark cherries and ripe plums, plus a hint of oak and a little sulphur. The palate is intense and complex yet well integrated, with leather and wood, and it finishes long, balanced and sweet.
