Broken Barrel California Oak Bourbon is a Straight Bourbon whiskey distilled in Owensboro, Kentucky, and sold under the Broken Barrel Whiskey brand.
The finish uses staves rather than a whole cask: 80% come from Central Coast Cabernet barrels and 20% are French oak. The wine-barrel staves make up the larger share, with the French oak adding the remainder.
