Brora 1981 is a 19 year old Highland single malt, distilled in June 1981 and bottled in July 2000 by Raeburn Fine Wines for its Bottlers series. It is bottled at 61% ABV in a 70cl bottle, and the whisky matured in a refill sherry butt.
The nose is bright citrus zest with subtle dried fruit. The palate shows honeyed figs and a lightly spicy orange note with a smooth texture, and the finish is long, with sweet caramel and a hint of smoky peat.
