Brora – Limited Edition 32 Year Old Natural Cask Strength Single Malt Bottled 2011 (70cl, 54.7%)

This is a 32 year old Highland single malt from Brora, the distillery founded in 1819 on the Sutherland coast and closed in 1983. Released in 2011 as the tenth annual Special Release, it was the first official 32 year old Brora. It is bottled at a natural cask strength of 54.7% in a 70cl bottle. The palate shows waxy citrus, honeyed fruit and buttery oak, with coastal salinity, delicate peat smoke, pepper and aromatic herbs. The finish is long, warming and balanced.
