Brother's Bond Straight Bourbon is a four-grain bourbon created by the actors Ian Somerhalder and Paul Wesley, who launched the brand in May 2021. It was distilled in Indiana from 65% corn and 22% rye, with wheat and malted barley making up the rest, and aged for a minimum of four years in virgin American oak. It is bottled at 40% in a 750ml bottle.
The nose brings baked banana bread, jammy ripe fruit, walnuts and orange honey. The palate is rich with honey, dried fruit and black-tea spice over toasted cereal and honeysuckle. The finish has fresh-cut oak and warm rye spice, with a note of beeswax.
