This is a small-batch American whiskey from Brothers of the Leaf, blended from selected straight whiskeys and finished in toasted white oak casks. It comes in a 75cl bottle with a golden-amber colour.
The toasted oak finish is said to bring out vanilla, toffee and roasted spice.
The tasting notes describe a smooth entry of toasted vanilla, dried fruit and caramelised oak. Spice, light tobacco and a subtle nuttiness follow mid-palate, and the finish is long, warm and oaky with a refined sweetness.
