This is a 15 year old Islay single malt from Bruichladdich, bottled by Cadenhead's for the Campbeltown Malts Festival 2023. It was distilled in December 2007 and matured in Chateau Climens hogsheads.
It was bottled in 2023 at a cask strength of 53.2%, as an outturn of 1,015 bottles in a 20cl size.
Honeyed fruits and floral aromas sit over subtle oak on the nose. The palate is rich and velvety, with dried apricots, vanilla and spiced caramel, and the finish is a lingering warmth with a touch of sweetness and gentle spice.
