Bruichladdich 16 Year Old is a single malt from the Bruichladdich distillery on the western shore of Loch Indaal, on the island of Islay. It is not chill-filtered and carries no added colouring. On the nose there is pear, pineapple and melon with crisp malt, a light touch of caramel and floral notes. The palate is floral, fruity and fresh, with sweet vanilla, a little oak and malt sugar, and lime and honey alongside. The finish is warming, mild and slow.
