This is a Bruichladdich 1964 single malt from Islay, aged 40 years and released by the distillery itself. It is the oldest vintage the distillery has released.
The spirit was distilled on 24 October 1964 and bottled on 23 November 2004, after more than 40 years in a fresh bourbon cask.
Only 550 bottles were released, at 43.1% ABV in a 70cl size, and each comes in a tube.
