Bruichladdich Port Charlotte 2002 is an Islay single malt Scotch whisky matured in a single rum barrel. Distilled on 26 May 2002 and bottled in June 2014, this limited edition produced 308 bottles at 46% ABV.
Ripe citrus, dried apricot and dark cherry aromas introduce a creamy, fruity and smoky character. The palate brings caramelised brown sugar, dried plums and toasted almonds, leading into a long finish of sweet toffee and lingering smoky sweetness.
