Bruichladdich – 2003 Little Brown Dog

This is a 2003 Bruichladdich from Islay, bottled as a single cask by Little Brown Dog Spirits. The cask came from a parcel of four barrels, and only 140 bottles were filled from it. The bottlers chose a 20 micron filter rather than their usual finer ones, to keep the whisky as close as possible to how it tastes from the cask. They note that some very fine cask char sediment may settle in the bottle. Little Brown Dog describe the whisky as having depth, texture and a great deal of character.
