This is Octomore Futures – The Beast, a Bruichladdich single malt from Islay, distilled on 9 November 2004 and bottled in April 2011 at 60.5%. It is 6 years old and comes in a 70cl bottle, one of 9,600.
The malt was made with Optic barley and peated to 167ppm, then matured in a bourbon cask. That level of peating explains the name, The Beast.
