Master Distiller of Bruichladdich, Jim McEwan had personally selected the whiskies in this collection at the time of distillation for his personal collection. After the Dramfool collection slowly matured at Bruichladdich distillery Jim McEwan can say that these casks are the peak of his intentions and that they ‘come extremely close to that ever elusive ‘perfect dram’. The Aroma of fresh cut barley is first to greet you, then lemongrass, pastries, honey and oak, the palate is toasted barley, peach, mango, vanilla and honey with a medium length finish of liquorice, citrus, vanilla and oak.
