Bruichladdich – 30 Year Old

Bruichladdich Thirty is a 30 year old single malt matured exclusively in bourbon casks. The distillery closed in the late 20th century, and since 2001 the Victorian site has been rebuilt and restored. The whisky is described as delicate, with a subtle sweetness of toasted oak, honey and soft vanilla, and a touch of dark chocolate alongside a floral character. The bottle is wrapped in moulded, fully recyclable paper pulp rather than a conventional box, which the distillery says cut its carbon footprint.
