Bruichladdich Thirty is a limited single malt Scotch whisky, matured for its entire thirty years in ex-bourbon casks on Islay and bottled at 43% ABV in a 700ml bottle.
It marks the revival of the Victorian distillery, whose future was uncertain in the early 1990s, when this spirit was laid down. Bruichladdich has since grown to be the largest private employer on Islay.
The nose is elegantly floral with a gentle touch of sea air. The palate brings the sweetness of toasted oak, honey and soft vanilla, with a hint of dark chocolate.
