Bruichladdich Bere Barley 2010 is an unpeated Islay single malt made from Bere, a local variety of barley. The spirit matured for eight years in casks that previously held bourbon. The barley is the point of this bottling, and it shapes a character that is malty and spicy, with chocolate and nuts alongside. In the glass it is described as malty and spiced, with notes of chocolate and nuts, and fruit given pride of place.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
