Bruichladdich Bere Barley 2013 is an unpeated Islay single malt made from Bere barley, an old Scottish grain grown in partnership with the Agronomy Institute of Orkney College. It was distilled in 2013, aged for ten years and bottled at 50% ABV in a 70cl bottle. Maturation took place in first-fill bourbon barrels and second-fill Pauillac wine casks, and the colour is golden. The nose offers warm citrus, tropical fruit and peach skin, while the palate is soft and rounded with brown sugar, apricot and melon. The finish brings milk chocolate, malt and crème brûlée.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
