Bruichladdich – Biodynamic Project (70cl, 50%)

The Biodynamic Project is a small-batch experimental single malt from Bruichladdich's Project series, bottled at 50% in a 70cl bottle. It is described as the world's first biodynamic Scotch whisky, and the second small-batch experiment of its kind from the distillery. The barley comes from Yatesbury House Farm, a carbon-negative farm. The nose is peach, vanilla custard and candied orange. The palate is succulent, with caramel chocolate and gentle oak, and a little water brings out honeysuckle, rose and geranium. The finish carries citrus, marine air and toffee, with lingering malt sugar and porridge.
