This is Black Art 11.1, a 24 year old single malt from Bruichladdich on Islay, bottled in 2023 at 44.2% ABV in a 70cl bottle. Black Art is made from a mix of aged spirits whose contents are known only to the master distiller.
The whisky is deep amber and is non-chill-filtered and free of added colour.
It is described as layering dried fruit, sweet caramel, rich oak and soft spice, with a character that recalls the changing Islay coast.
