Black Art Edition 04.1 is a Bruichladdich distilled in 1990 and bottled in 2013, after more than 23 years in cask. It belongs to the Black Art series, in which the details of the casks are kept secret, and only Master Distiller Jim McEwan knows them. It is bottled at 49.2%, non-chill-filtered and with no added colour. The nose offers dark forest berries, toasted oak, leather, spices and dark chocolate, with a subtle fruity sweetness and a hint of sea air. The palate is rich and soft, with candied fruit, figs, tobacco, toasted nuts and baked apple. The finish is long and silky, with dry warmth and sweetness.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
