Bruichladdich – Black Art 6.1 1990 26 Year Old (70cl, 46.9%)

Black Art 6.1 is the sixth edition of Bruichladdich's Black Art series, in which the distillery never reveals the make-up of the casks. This unpeated 26 year old single malt was distilled in 1990 and bottled on 12 April 2018 at 46.9%, without chill filtration. Production ran to 18,000 bottles. The nose is rich, with honey, burnt wood, lemon meringue pie and raisins. Custard, dark chocolate, coconut and tobacco follow on the palate, with a touch of citrus. The finish is exotic, with stewed orchard fruit.
