This is a 14 year old single malt from Bruichladdich, from the Links series and named for the 16th hole at Augusta. It is in a 70cl bottle at 46% ABV.
The nose is fruity and floral, with fresh grapes, melon, sultanas, malted barley and a subtle touch of pine or cedar. The body is medium and slightly oily, firm and dry at first, then moving towards sweeter malt, caramel, toffee and mixed fruits.
The finish is long, with a spicy aftertaste of white pepper and a soft dryness like oak.
