Octomore 10.4 is a heavily peated single malt from Bruichladdich, bottled in 2019 at 63.5% in a 70cl bottle. It belongs to the tenth Octomore edition, which brought four different releases. The barley was Scottish Concerto, harvested in 2015 and distilled in 2016. It then matured for three years, all of it in French virgin oak. The 28 Limousin oak casks were heavily toasted before filling, a step meant to bring out dried fruit aromas rather than bitter tannins. They were filled at Warehouse 12. The phenol level is 88 PPM.
