The 2021 Edition of Octomore from Bruichladdich is a 10 year old single malt in a 70cl bottle, bottled at cask strength at 56.3% ABV. It is heavily peated, with a phenol level of 90.3 ppm.
Octomore is named after James Brown's Octomore Farm near Port Charlotte, which once housed a still. The whiskies are an experiment in running heavily peated malted barley through the tall, narrow-necked stills of Bruichladdich.
