Bruichladdich – Octomore 13.2 (70cl, 58.3%)

Octomore 13.2 is an Islay single malt from Bruichladdich, bottled at a cask strength of 58.3% in a 70cl bottle. It continues the Octomore series and follows 13.1. The whisky spent five years in first fill Oloroso sherry butts, all stored on Islay. It is made only from Scottish Concerto barley, peated to 137.3 ppm, and is bottled without chill filtration or colouring. The nose is nutty, with citrus and smoke. The palate is rich and dry, with lemon, nuts, smoke and dried fruit, and the finish is long.
