Octomore 13.3 is a heavily peated Islay single malt from Bruichladdich, bottled at 61.1% in a 70cl bottle. The barley was grown on Islay, all on a single farm.
Most of the spirit matured in first-fill ex-American whiskey barrels, with a smaller selection of second-fill European oak casks from the Rivesaltes region of France and the Ribera del Duero region of Spain.
It is described as soft and delicate, with sweet honey and brown sugar notes wrapped in a thin layer of peat smoke.
