Octomore 17.1 is a heavily peated Islay single malt from Bruichladdich, in a 70cl bottle at 59.7% ABV. It is made from 100% Scottish mainland Concerto barley, malted to 81.0 PPM, and was distilled in 2020 from the 2019 harvest.
It was matured for five years entirely in first-fill bourbon barrels. It is described as an interplay of intense peat smoke, coastal salinity and subtle sweetness.
